INFORMATION: The Mer Bleue Bog in Ottawa is one of the most outstanding natural features of the Greenbelt. At Mer Bleue you will find interpretive boardwalks, sand ridges, cross-country ski trails and forests. Mer Bleue is the largest bog and natural area in Canada’s Capital Region and the second largest bog in southern Ontario.

TRAIL INFORMATION:10 and 5 km trails - Level 2B (Group 5km: there will be a group Snowshoe for the 5km leaving at 10:30 if you wish to join us)

LOCATION: NCC Parking Lot 20 - 2617 Anderson Rd, Orléans, ON K1A 0E7

START TIME: 10:00 - 10:30 hrs in parking lot 20. Books will be stamped at this time.

TRAIL CLOSES: 12:00 hrs

DIRECTIONS: Exit Hwy 417 at Anderson Rd, Turn north crossing Russell Road to Parking Lot 20 opposite the Geological Survey of Canada.

PARKING: is free, please follow the Volksmarch signs to park.

FEE: Registration is $2.00

FACILITIES: Washrooms are available at start and finish.

SOCIAL: Reservations have been made at Verona Steak & Pizza ( formerly Louis Steak House) 1682 Cyrville Rd, Orleans for lunch/brunch after the event (between 12:00/12:30)
