Membership in the Ottawa Voyageur Walking Club is open to all. The annual membership fees are:
- Individual $15.00 per year
- Family $30.00 per year
Membership year runs from January 1 to December 31 of each year. Family membership fee includes parents and all children under the age of 18 living at the same address (one vote per family membership). Membership fees are used to produce the newsletter, fund special events, and administration costs. NOTE: Our annual membership renewal period is from January 1st to April 1st to ensure all current members are able to vote at the Annual General Meeting.
As per the club constitution the Annual General Meeting is held in April of each year. An announcement will be circulated to members by email and posted on our website and facebook page. Information is also listed under AGM
Members are encouraged to volunteer a couple of hours to assist with running our events. Some volunteer activities are to assist with registration (start and finish); trail marking; organizing a club walk; managing a YRE walk box. Please contact a member of the Executive to offer your assistance. Remember many hands make light work and we welcome your talents and fresh ideas.

This year’s process is:
- Print off the membership form and the “new” Annual Waiver of Liability.
- Fill out both sheets, noting that if this is a family membership each member is required to fill out the waiver and provide a signature. If there are more than 4 members in your family, please print off a second waiver sheet.
- If you wish to pay by etransfer please contact our membership coordinator to confirm the email address to send your membership form and etransfer.
- Please make your payment by cheque made out to: Ottawa Voyageurs Walking Club
- Mail your form, waiver and payment to the address on the form
