HONOURING FRENCH HERITAGE - CVF10680 IN CANADA
INFORMATION: This walk celebrates the French heritage of the Vanier sector of Ottawa by walking through various neighborhoods in the area.
TRAIL INFORMATION: 5 & 10 km Map Walk - Level 2B
LOCATION: Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre, 300 des Pères Blancs, Vanier Quartier, Ottawa, ON
START TIME: : 9:00 am to 10:00 am
TRAIL CLOSES: 12:30 pm
DIRECTIONS: Exit Highway 174 at the Vanier Parkway, travel north on the Vanier Pkwy to Montreal Rd. Turn right on Montreal Rd to Marier St. on the left (Eastview Pizza on the corner). Left on Marier to Avenue des Pères Blancs. Right on Avenue des Pères Blancs and go to the end of the street. You will come to the parking lot at the Community Centre.
PARKING: Parking is free.
FEE: Participation in the event is free. The fee for IVV credit is $2.00.
FACILITIES: Washrooms are available at the start/finish, and free parking is available.
SOCIAL: TBA - it is hoped that we will be able to offer a pancake breakfast in Action Vanier's Sugar Shack.
